Anselm Hemsworth is a thirteen year old son of Aphrodite. Though he likes his powers, he's too young to be able to appreciate their worth. He is also reluctant to use his powers because of undesired results. He doesn't mind the beauty or the love and attention, so long as he doesn't force people to feel that way. He uses spells to keep himself plain looking in the meantime so as not to get too much attention. He knows he needs to mature first. He doesn't take compliments very well from people, mostly because he does not trust himself. As mentioned, Anselm keeps himself rather plain looking. He has fair skin, dark brown hair, and slate gray eyes. He doesn't even hint to people that he looks any different, and even those who know he has a different appearance do not know what he really looks like. Anselm has a military cap and it is his most prized possession. It was his father's before he left for a tour in Afghanistan. Anselm was forced out of the hom when he was attacked by children of Ares. He roams around on his own.

Son of Ares

Brishen. Born during a rainstorm. It seems his name has more than one meaning to it. The rain. It hides his tears. It hides his heart. He lets the rain wash away his pain, and he becomes numb in reply. Brishen was born on a cold, rainy night in England to a loving single mother with her two sons. He was loved, cherished, supported. He had anger management issues and was prone to violence, but this was nothing new for a boy in his living situation. His mother was often stressed, but she never complained. For the most part they lived in poverty, going from trailer home to trailer home, one run-down community to the next. One day, on a stroke of luck, his mother was hired at a top notch position in a financial job and they were flown to America. It was like coming out of a long, dark tunnel into a light filled dream land. They lived in a modest home in a quiet neighborhood. Brishen and his brothers were able to go to decent schools. They could buy new clothes and didn't have to worry about getting food on the table. Brishen, now nine, also became an older brother when his little sister Angelina was born. Two years later, Vertigo came in the night, dragged them all screaming from their beds, and brutally slaughtered them. Brishen was writhing on the floor from a slit jugular vein, watching as Vertigo carried his little sister into the bathroom and locked the door. The sound of her screams still rings in his ears, the scene of bloody water streaming out from under the bathroom door as his little sister's screams become chokes and gurgles and eventually silence. It's forever engraved in his memory, and he still bears the scars on his throat and chest from Vertigo's knife. Brishen has all the hatred of Styx in his heart, a hatred born of helplessness, suffering, and loss. After that evil creature known as Vertigo Antigra massacred his family, Brishen Price has sworn to never sleep until he has hunted the son of Oizys to the ends of the earth and made an end of him. His father warns him not to get involved, that there is more to the deaths of his family than he is aware of, but Brishen isn't one to listen. He doesn't care for the reason, even if there is one, he wants justice and revenge. Revenge is a chimera. While he battles the lion, the goat lunges with its horns and the snake sinks its fangs in his back. He is journeying down a dangerous, frightful path, one that will test all the limits of his morals and judgements, but he is dead set on following it to the end. He kills. He is a killer. He will make an end of any who stand in his path and he will not feel remorse. So blinded is he, so twisted is he. He will use and manipulate and torture everyone for the mere pleasure of achieving his goal. It is destroying him and he loves it. He seeks destruction. He seeks the bitter end and the pleasant misery it shall bring to him. After that night, Brishen discovered his identity as a demigod. He doesn't understand why Ares hasn't done anything to avenge Brishen's family, a family Ares claims to have loved, a family Ares helped create. Brishen has never felt so alone or betrayed before. It eats away at him as fiercely as his hatred. Born during a rainstorm. Born to be forever covered in thick, smothering clouds. Born to forever be trapped in the rain that will hide all his pain filled tears.
Brishen is still young, only fifteen now, with dirty blonde hair and steel gray eyes. He still has a British accent, but to avoid too much attention he will switch to an American one. Brishen is a bit rash and very arrogant. He's hot-headed, stubborn, and not very bright. He doesn't do well in social situations and prefers to be alone. He has a very tender heart, and sometimes cries when he's alone, though he'll never admit it, always portraying a tough exterior.

Faolan is the son of Zeus. He is caught up in this dreadful series of unfortunate events, and there doesn't seem to be any logical way out of it except to win this game called life or die trying. Faolan is an average teenager: 6', weighing 160 pounds, all muscle. He has fair skin, not flawless though. He has a few small scars and some blemishes here and there. He has bright blue eyes, not to mention incredible vision, able to see farther than any average human as well as being able to "zoom in" on small objects. He attributes his binocular and microscopic vision to his father. His eyes are almost always glaring, though not purposely, not all the time. He has a naturally hard look to him. As for his hair, it is short length; not buzz cut or close cut, but extends no farther than his ears, not quite brushing his shoulders. It is a dirty blonde color, accentuated by dark golden lowlights to bright white highlights. He has a somewhat odd facial structure: a solid chin with sensual lips, a strong nose, but somewhat rounded cheek bones that add a touch of 'pretty boy' to his rough look. Faolan is the kind of guy most like being friends with. He gets along pretty well with others. Doesn't talk, but always ready to listen. He offers advice and tries to be helpful in any situation. He rises to the challenge, becoming a natural form of a leader. He has his dark and mysterious side though. Others will get close to him, but he won't get close to them; a one sided relationship. Very few people he calls friends, even fewer he calls family. He has a strong sense of loyalty, a knack for problem solving and tactics, and a tendency to adapt to his surroundings quite well. He knows hand-to-hand combat and martial arts quite well, being the street kid type. Not that he was a gangster or anything, he just likes to play rough. Faolan was born in the more ghetto part of the city where crime was high and money was low. When he was five, his mother Audrey found a new boyfriend, seeing as Zeus isn't the kind of guy to settle down, and her new boyfriend Mike moved in. He was lazy and did pretty much nothing except leech off of her welfare and paychecks. Faolan liked Mike, being only five, because Mike would play with him. Mike was never abusive, till Faolan got older and developed a strong sense of disdain for the man's habits. Though he was never put through any extreme violence, Faolan was hit on and off by Mike when he got out of hand. Eventually Mike left, and Faolan and Audrey lived alone. When he was fifteen, she had a new boyfriend and not five months later they were married and moved into his house in the suburbs. His stepdad is alright to him. He could care less. He stayed pretty detached from his family, and could never truly bond with them. Ever. Except his half-sister, Chloe, whom he finds himself to be rather protective of. Faloan's only prized possession is a Lightning Ring, the only thing he ever received from his father. He remembers a day, a warm summer one. He was at a circus with his sister watching Lippizanners leap through hoops of fire. Then he felt a hand on his and the ring slip into his palm. A spark of electricity had crawled through his fingers, and he instantly knew it was his father who had just touched him. When he turned and looked about, no one was in sight, and nothing was out of the ordinary save the odd ring left in his grasp. He believes that maybe it was his father's way of apologizing for causing the suffering he has faced and all the suffering yet to come that his father will never save him from. The Lightning Ring is a band made of gold, a perfect circle broken by a diagonal, jagged line. It is also embossed with black meteorite. It turns warm occasionally, and Faolan likes to think it does that when his father thinks of him. He also found it is a great conductor of electricity, and he has invented quite a few attacks with it.
